Writers
Writers must provide 3 samples of what they believe to be their best work. Samples that fit the theme are strongly recommended, but not required.Samples must be submitted as a Google Doc or an AO3 link. Links to Twitter threads will not be accepted.Portfolios are optional but highly recommended. Portfolios may be submitted as a Google Doc/Folder, an AO3 link, a twitter thread masterlist or any single link that compiles your work.Sample Requirements
A minimum of 1.5k words and a maximum of 3k words with a 250 word allowance both ways. Works under 1.25k and over 3.25k will not be reviewed.
‣ At least 1 sample must be NSFW.
‣ At least 1 sample must include BNHA characters.
‣ At least 1 sample must feature a female character.
‣ At least 2 samples must be complete works within the above word count.
⁎ Using an excerpt is allowed, but is limited to only 1 sample.Judging Criteria
‣ Grammar & Spelling:
Proper and consistent use of grammar, spelling and syntax with the understanding that certain rules may be broken for stylistic reasons.
‣ Characterization:
Characterization and character dialogue that is recognizable and distinguishable from others in the piece.
‣ Pacing:
The ability to tell a complete story within the required word count and a flow/pacing that fits the story.
‣ Style & Engagement:
Style can include imagery, dialogue, sentence and paragraph structure and any elements unique to your writing. Style will be judged on how engaging the piece is as well as how it fits the theme of the zine.‣ Concepts:
At least 2 concepts including the intended ship/character, a short summary, and any relevant kinks are required.
⁎ These will be considered for pre-approval. Additionally, there will be ship/ character caps, so it is best to make your concept diverse. Other caps include genderbends, which should be limited to only 1 of your concepts.Expectations
‣ Domme (main zine) Writers will be expected to write an NSFW piece of 2.5k-3k words featuring at least one female character in a dominant role.
‣ Mistress (add-on) Writers will be expected to write an NSFW piece of 2.5k-3k words featuring at least one female character in a dominant role and at least one hard-kink element.Artists & Merch Artists

‣ Merch Artists are will be expected to create 2-3 merch items.
What is the theme of Domme?
‣ Femdom of course! Which is defined as a woman who is a dominant partner. For the purpose of this project, this includes inside and outside the BDSM scene as we’d like to showcase the BNHA female cast dominating their partners in a multitude NSFW of ways.Is this zine for-profit or for charity?
‣ It is Domme’s goal to be a for-profit zine. However, this will be contingent on our Interest Check.How will contributors be compensated?
‣ As part of compensation, Domme will guarantee a free digital copy of the zine to all contributors. If the project breaks even we will also provide contributors will a Full Bundle, free of charge! Should we exceed expectations, monetary compensation may be offered.How many contributors will there be?
‣ We hope to accept 8-10 Writers and 20-25 Artists (this includes 3-5 Merch Artists). These ranges are contingent on project needs and may be subject to change.Are threesomes, or othersomes allowed?
‣ Yes, however, they may be limited and the dominant female(s) depicted must be the focus of the piece.Is problematic content allowed?
‣ Absolutely, including but not limited to blood & gore, non-con, incest, watersports, underage and lolicon / shotacon. However, these themes as well as other hard kinks will be limited to our add-on, Mistress.Are genderbend concepts allowed?
‣ Yes, however, these will be limited.How will canonically minor characters be depicted?
‣ Canonically minor characters featured in our main zine must be aged up to 18 years old at the minimum. However, this is not required for our hard-kink / problematic add-on, Mistress.
